Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction

No longer does agent Sam Fisher have to constantly hide in the shadows for fear of having the alarm sounded by hair trigger security guards who shoot and ask questions later. Splinter Cell Conviction is still a stealth game where you can stalk like a panther, but now like Jason Bourne, he has learnt some brutal martial arts moves and can chose to come out pistol toting to up the action.

You play as Fisher, who has been betrayed by his government agency now working alone to find his daughter’s killer and trying to stop a plot to blow up Washington DC. New gadgets range from a sticky camera used to see around corners that can be detonated to infrared goggles that see through walls to a broken car mirror to peep under doors. These come in handy with the new Mark and Execute feature. You can spot enemies, press a button to mark them with a dot and then storm the room taking them out with your pistol.
Last Known Position, another feature, displays a ghosted image of where the enemy last saw you allowing you to hide or flank while the enemies target where you were last seen. He also has some awesome hand-to-hand combat skills. The story is also well told with objectives and cut scenes being projected and written onto walls during game play.

#1 Whip It
Drew Barrymore's directorial debut is a classic coming-of-age story... on roller skates. No, it's not back to Xanadu, but into the high-impact world of girls' roller derby, where Bliss Cavendar (Ellen Page) finds herself transformed into Babe Ruthless.
