Fight Night Round 4 [ M ]
 |
Release: 30/Jun/2009
Platform: XBox360
Rating: M
Genre: Sports

Fight Night Round 4 is the result of global game juggernaut EA pouring rafts of resources into creating the sort of in-ring showdown that’d leave Don King frothing at the mouth. Apart from across-the-board improvements, the series has snagged the rights to serially offensive ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson. Players can now use any member of boxing’s Hall of Fame – including Lennox Lewis, Muhammad Ali and Anthony Mundine – to beat three shades of decency into him.
EA made a wise move in opting against pumping out a yearly iteration of their boxing champ. That has allowed more think time for Round 4, and the improvements are obvious. While Round 3 was brutally brilliant in its own right, Round 4 ably knocks it into the corner with a one-two gut blow. The fighter models bleed detail and represent their real counterparts with just the right amount of growl. Knockout punches wobble cheeks and send mouthguards reeling in slow motion, plus, for the first time, each fighter’s unique physicality is accurately portrayed. Now, for instance, Muhammad Ali looks like a wiry fighter who relies on reach and speed, as opposed to Tyson who’s all about staying low and throwing explosive hooks and there is increased attention to each fighter’s real life style
With sharper controls that are easy to pick up, glorious presentation and a huge roster of boxing’s biggest, Fight Night Round 4 is a spit-flinging uppercut anybody with a penchant for biff will acknowledge as the best boxing game ever.

#1 Whip It |
|
Drew Barrymore's directorial debut is a classic coming-of-age story... on roller skates. No, it's not back to Xanadu, but into the high-impact world of girls' roller derby, where Bliss Cavendar (Ellen Page) finds herself transformed into Babe Ruthless. |

#1 Rogue Warrior |
|
Rogue Warrior’s Dick is harder than a coffin nail. We know this statement to be true because we’ve played it, a shooter based upon the exploits of Mr Richard ‘Dick’ Marcinko – a real life, ex-Navy SEAL legend. |
